This Maypole Tow Ball, Spacer, Bumper Protector & Fixing Bolt Set provides an all-in-one solution for compatible towbars, trailers, trucks, 4x4s and towing vehicles. Combining a heavy-duty 50mm tow ball with compatible spacer and bumper protection components, the kit is designed for bolt-on installation to a suitable flange-style towbar.
Manufactured using durable metal components, the set includes a steel tow ball together with galvanised aluminium spacers and a solid steel bumper protector featuring a corrosion-resistant ED coating. The combination provides a robust towing assembly while the spacer arrangement can be used where additional clearance is required between compatible towbar and towing components.
The tow ball features a standard ISO 50 / 50mm ball size, an M16 shank diameter and a maximum stated towing capacity of 3500kg. A stated 17.2kN rating also applies to the relevant towing component. Actual towing capacity must always be determined by the lowest-rated component in the complete towing system and must not exceed the vehicle or towbar manufacturer's permitted limits.
