This AutoSiliconeHoses Silicone Coolant Hose is a reinforced, heat-resistant hose designed for automotive cooling, motorsport and industrial fluid applications. Supplied in a 1 metre continuous length and available in a range of internal diameters from 6.5mm to 102mm, it provides a flexible and durable solution for coolant, water and suitable low-pressure air duties.
Manufactured from premium silicone inner and outer layers with multi-fabric polyester cord reinforcement, the hose combines flexibility with pressure stability. Depending on the selected diameter, the construction uses either 3-ply or 4-ply reinforcement, helping the hose maintain its shape during vibration, pressure pulsation and repeated heating and cooling cycles.
The smooth internal bore promotes efficient fluid flow through cooling systems, making the hose suitable for radiator connections, heater circuits, bypass lines and auxiliary cooling systems. Silicone construction also provides resistance to ozone, weathering and common under-bonnet conditions, making it well suited to automotive, commercial vehicle, motorsport and industrial installations.
Manufactured to SAE J20R3, the hose is rated for continuous temperatures from -50°C to +180°C, with short-duration peak temperatures up to +250°C. Working pressure ranges from approximately 2.8 bar to 9 bar depending on hose size, with minimum burst pressures from 4.5 bar to 27 bar and a stated 3:1 safety factor.
