This 2-Way Male SuperSeal Connector Kit with Protective Boot is a fully integrated sealing and strain-relief solution engineered for high-integrity electrical terminations in automotive, commercial vehicle, agricultural, and marine wiring environments. Based on the TE/AMP SuperSeal architecture, the assembly ensures optimal contact stability, moisture exclusion, and mechanical durability under sustained exposure to vibration, thermal cycling, and contaminant ingress.
The male connector housing incorporates dual-channel terminal guides and a precision-moulded secondary lock, guaranteeing consistent terminal retention and alignment during operation. Supplied tin-plated copper alloy terminals ensure efficient current transmission with minimal resistive loss. The included dual yellow silicone seals provide radial compression around the conductors, establishing an IP-rated environmental barrier when correctly assembled.
To enhance rear-entry protection, the kit includes a heavy-duty elastomeric boot designed to shield the connector body and conductor entry zone from road spray, mud, oils, and other harsh contaminants. Its ribbed strain-relief section mitigates cable fatigue under bending loads, while the tapered internal geometry ensures a tight interference fit over the connector housing.
